This is just a little information to help you in coloring and scenting our unscented bases.
How to Scent and Color Our diluted Goat Milk Lotion and Cream Bases made from our 3in1 Concentrate!
1.You can heat the lotion base, if desired, to 170 degrees F.
2. Use approx. 1 - 2 tsp. of fragrance or essential oil per 32oz. of base(3ml per 4oz. works great!) Mix well.
3. Use a skin safe cosmetic grade colorant (preferable with a dropper spout) to color lotion to your taste, a drop at a time, till it suits you!
4. Always use smallest amount possible first, then work your way up.
Scenting our Liquid Soap Base
1.Always remember to test your fragrances or essential oils FIRST on a small batch, some fragrance oils have been known to thin your soap down, so always use smallest amount possible first, then work your way up.
2.Use approx. 1 - 2 tsp. of fragrance or essential oil per 32oz. of base(3ml per 4oz. works great!) Mix well, but gently (you don't want loads of suds YET!:o).
3.Coloring hasn't been tested yet, I don't color my base, because of the natural tan color, so use discretion - doesn't mean it can't be done, just means I don't know yet !:o) At this point I use colorful bottles (like emerald green, or cobalt blue), they look great!
