Salvation
This page is for people to understand what salvation is, so here it is.
You see, the human race was started when God created the first man, Adam. Adam was sinless, but was created with the ability to choose whether to reject or accept God's law. He rejected it by disobeying God, that is called sin, and that is how sin came into the world. Romans 5:12 says "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that have sinned." That verse is saying that if you sin you'll die and go to hell as Psalm 9:17 says, "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all nations that forget God". We have all sinned, as Romans 3:10 says, "As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one.": and Romans 10:23 says "For all have sinned an come short of the glory of God."
So we've all sinned, and if the price of sin is everlasting death in hell burning for eternity, then isn't there a way to get to heaven, isn't there HOPE???
Well, yes, there is, in Romans 6:23, is says "for the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord", and John 3:126 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave is only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life". Isn't that wonderful! Because God loved us so much, he sent his only Son to die for us on a cross, and that if we just ask God to come in our hearts and save us and really mean it., and want to live for God for the rest of our lives, He'll save you! All you have to do is just as Romans 10:9 says, "That is thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." That's it, it's that simple, if you just believe in Christ, you can have the gift of salvation too!
